i put in 3.73's in my 94 lt1. it came with 3.07's. yes the tires do spin when launching but you will learn how to cope and feather the throttle. however, when they do hook, hold on. second gear hits and spins the tires again. be careful making half throttle lefts or rights. passing cars at...
i ordered rotors and pads from ecklers last month for my 94. the rears went on without a problem but the front rotors(part #32705) from ecklers were thinner and smaller than the ones i had on. i know i dont have the j55 option but i did see JL9 under the console. are these a step up from the...
ive had my 373's in my d36 for 2 years now. i wouldnt put slicks on her but i have no problem mashing the pedal at speed or at a standstill. i believe you'll be ok if you let the tires spin.
its a little tight but do-able. i bought the 02 sensor removal tool. i think it fits on a 3/8th rachet. which made it a little easier. replace both while your down there so your done with it.
i have a d36 and i put in 3.73s. i dont think you can go any higher. even if you could its not a good idea to put 4.11s on a street driven car with an auto. i had 3.07s and my mileage went down. but it really made a big difference when accelerating. now the rear end squats when i get on it at 65.
exactly. and like you said you could still lose with a lower et. my father always said the race is won or lost at the line. it wouldve been nice to see a rematch with the goat. with equal reaction times i think the goat would win.
hey bachcaloop. there are two vette shops here. first one is called mcr vettes. its on industrial. dont know the exact address. ive been inside of it a long time ago to ask some questions but the guy seemed old and uninterested. go to tuckers on cameron. 5140 south cameron to be exact. its off...
femurphy77, do you have the fx3 shocks? if so, was there enough slack in the actuator wire for the shock to come down some or did you have to disconect it for the shock to come down at all?
engine compartment needs some attention. i dont think its anything that a set of rags, couple of brillo pads for the suspension parts, time and elbow grease wont fix. its just been neglected. i dont think its permanent. tops can be found new or used. if you want a color coded top it my be a...
i had the same problem after i put a 52mm tb. damn thing would just wouldnt come down from 1100 rpms. so i threw on a tighter return spring and all is well. however it will be harder to depress the gas pedal now.
