Hmmm... the '93 I bought in December is still stored 800 miles away, (I haven't even seen it yet) but when it finally gets here I think I'll be doing the following:
Change oil
Shop for new tires
Replace some of the weatherstripping
Fix the bracket near the battery (this was described to me...
Get a good old cheap spring type mousetrap. Lay it on the floor of the car with a dab of peanut butter on it. Put a towel under it in case there is a little blood splatter :D. Took one night to get one of the little buggers that way in my old GTO.

I can't seem to edit my sig pic- something goofy happened with it back when I first did it with my old '66 (double photo) and I can't get it changed to my '93 now. If one of the mods could help, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks- Rich
Hey, by no means new to the site or Corvettes, but I sold my '66 a while back (and haven't posted much lately) and I just gave myself a nice Christmas present! On Saturday I did a long distance deal and bought a Ruby Red 40th with only 35,000 miles on the clock. It's in pretty nice shape...

My son had his high school graduation pictures taken a couple of weeks ago and he wanted to have a couple of shots taken with the '66. Here's one shot:
I agree. I had my '71 LT-1 vert from 1993 until last March when I sold it. These cars were repeatedly listed as one of "The Hot Five, Top 10, Next Big Thing", whatever, throughout the time I owned it. That never happened. Of course, now that I've sold it, it happens. :hb If anyone anyone wants...
I think he's refering to the "readytofix" website. Always the same cars pictured, it seems. I don't remember if it is that site, but one of them requires you to pay a membership fee to actually view the car ads. :eyerole

Since I got it, it's been a permanant fixture on my hoist! I was just going to go through the fuel system and brakes and get it on the road, but as I started doing things, I kept going deeper and taking more things apart. The fan shroud was the latest thing to come out. One thing seems...

Although the car has not been run in 6 years, the previous owner had pulled and cleaned the gas tank,(the sender wiring is hanging there if you look) and bought a complete new exhuast system for the car. Only the front sections of the pipe had been installed. That's as far as it got...
