Lots of people run 275-40-18 (stock base C5 size) on the rear of late C4s . Mine had that when I got it, and I changed to 275-35-18 to go back to the stock diameter and have regretted it ever since. Lousy ride and had terrible tramlining at first that took several alignments before it was...
Brand new set of injectors with better technology than 20 year old GM injectors: $300.
Not spending almost that much to have injectors cleaned and then having one fail the next week because it's 20 years old: priceless.
There are a half dozen lockup tables each with 30-50 cells, so you've got a few hundred different lockup speeds (although the stock tables have quite a bit of duplication.) If you want an _exact_ answer then you'll need to ask an _exact_ question.
With TPS < 12.5% in 4th my stock tables have...
The only resale concern I can think of would be that if they use non-CARB-certified parts, then it won't be legal in the CARB states.
Seems pretty high.
If you are inclined to buy parts from the "main corvette parts retailers" then you might as well pay the $1k. Going to get raped either...
In general you'll get a lot more bang for your buck from your local rebuilder, but since you are in CA, you might do better to buy a motor from one of the known rebuilders in a location with lower costs of doing business. Only way to know is to get prices.
But this also might be jumping the...
Any competent installer can install an aftermarket keyless so that your alarm will function correctly with it. An incompetent/lazy install would leave you needing to do the "open door then lock" dance described above.

If you search over on corvetteforum for threads on the subject you will find the info you are looking for (subjectively) from a few people who have...
Hope I'm not too late... $1500 is a terrible price unless it is a museum piece that has never been installed and you plan to keep it that way.
One that you would actually want to put on your car will usually run $500-1000.
I paid $600 for mine which included the hard to find parcel shelf pad...
The procedure for disabling and/or removing is in the service manual. Basically you just have to unplug a couple of connectors. I'd go ahead and remove the bag as well.
There's a tech tip for this over on CF. You'll have to log in to read it.

Most likely you have the same engine as a US 92, but the lack of catalytic converters means you will have slightly higher horsepower at the wheels.
I think your guess that it went to the Middle East...
Yes but you have to modify your car. The mounts on the windshield are different.
If you search over on CF you should be able to find posts from people who've done it and posted lists of parts.
Or you can call Superior Chevy, I think people have mentioned that the CF contact there knows...
