Have a 1976 and the tach is not working. Had the dash apart for other repairs so I thought I would replace the tach. After instakkibg the new tach it still does not work. Three wires on back of tach where do they go? Looks like one goes to ground, looking at the wiring diagram and I'm confused...

Just bought a 1976 Vette with a 4 speed. The shifter seems to have alot of slop in it. Already got it hung up in reverse once. This is going to be the wifes car. I think I'm going to replace the whole shifter to avoid problems. Does anyone know if this can be done without dropping the trany?
