    Head light switch removal

Welcome to the CAC! It helps to pull the speedo/tach, some people with small and limber hands have managed to stick them all the way up there and work it out, but i'd recommend to pull the speedo/tach unit forward to get your hand into that area from the side. :w -Stefan

'82 Crossfire with 700R4 tranny question

Mine is bone stock, but yes. If it ticks me off, i put her into 3rd. Mostly though i do that when it's not behaving as it should as my Mechanic adjusted the tranny cable to shift, so currently no need for the kick down out of Overdrive to 3rd as it shifts back down by itself. But, yes, no harm...

    Alternator question voltage hey guys,

:happyanim: Fixed.." and I will have a word with the mechanic next time. The car had been in the shop a few weeks ago, as my positive fuse block had burnt out, at the battery side. Checking voltage on the battery: 12 steady. Going to check output on the alternator, I need to lösen the cap...

    Alternator question voltage hey guys,

Hey guys, quick question: my Volt meter is showing only slightly above 8, but the car seems to run fine. This started a week ago, then went normal to around 14V but only for a day or so. The regulator in the alternator was rebuilt only last year, could it be it went bust again? I checked it...

    Very unfortunate...

Thanks for addressing it. I guess it seemed longer then usual, as we dont see the behind the scenes stuff. And it just kept rolling on, like nothing was being done. I can appreciate the issue, but maybe post a shot across the bow for that member for all plain to see? Just a suggestion...
