I wonder if my 1961 Corvette guages are bleached by the sun or not. I wonder if the indicators are supposed to be orange illuminescent color or just plain white? Many cars of the past had orange pointers, but clearly not all. Please clarify before I get stupid and start applying paint here and there! Harland

guage faces

thainks again John! I went to a large Good Guys meet and saw a very confusing 1961--one saved from a scrap yard years back -and all the small guages are Checker auto type. still a presentable car but not for Bloomington! Car has a PA assigned VIN plate on the driver's door jam--mentioned the column location and the owner thought that was only to about 1957--I didn't see any point in irritating him so I let it slide. Often better to let the other feel he's correct--different for me, I want to ask others who know stuff since I don't know jack. Regards, Harland
