1966 exhaust question

Could anyone tell me if any venders sell headers that fit into original side pipes or have adapter pipes for headers. Thank you

Hedman used to (maybe still do) make a 4 into 1 header that turned out to connect to the factory side pipes. Also read a post in the last couple of days on here someplace about Stahl headers offering such a thing.

Summit Racing Equipment

Found the headers at Summit racing special order take about 3 weeks, only thing is they don't recommend them on aluminum heads, anyone know why?

don't have an answer except that hedman headers have a tech. section on their web site that you can e-mail for possible reasons.

Aluminum heads have different port angles and heights than iron heads.
