After replacing the water pump and lower radiator hose. I tried to get one piece rad hose like the one I removed. My local Corvette mechanic/supplier who works on my car informed me a '73 454 with A/C lower rad. hose was in 2 pieces plus a metal connecting piece. I cannot find a one piece hose, it must of been an after market. there is no branding on it except for numbers 091686 EBJ.
Is this correct??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Gary

Was this common to the 1973 or would the 70 - 74, 454 be the same?

'73 454 with A/C uses a 3-piece lower hose arrangement:

Rear hose at water pump - #3969929
Front hose at radiator - #3969928
Steel Coupling - (don't have P/N, your dealer will)

If your dealer can't figure it out, Paragon has them - #2249, #2250, and #2251 - $44.00 for all three.

I can tell you from experience, the two piece hose is much easier to install. In fact, I cut my one piece hose in half and made it this way so I could get at it easier. I could never get the lower piece on good enough with the one piece. Just my 2 cents (worth just shy of 1/2 cent today)
