Help! 1981 Corvrtte Anti Thief system driving me nuts

The Anti Thief system on my 1981 Corvette is doing some weird stuff. The heater/AC blower and windshield wipers will not work with blower switch on unless either door is open or unless one of the T-Tops are unlatched. With the ignition on or car running and doors shut the blower will not come on, open the door or unlatch the roof panel and the blower comes on. Doesn't matter what speed fan is set at.

OK grounds, what is not grounded????

Most likely the ground on the engine harness that the fan connects to.
should just need to undo and clean them.

It's doing the same thing on the wipers too. I will check all grounds

Just so you don't miss it the instrument panel ground is on the left hinge pillar above the courtesy light.

Thanks Antz81!!! You nailed it!!!!!! It was the ground that goes to the instrument ground under the courtesy light. Thanks a million!!!!!!
