Question: 1982 Steering column paint codes

Still working on "Smoke". Spent an hour or so pullng the steering column last night......Boy that was fun even with the entire interior gutted and a six pack

Anyway, does anyone have information on what the paint codes are for the steering column? Slate Grey interior. Or where to buy spray paint?

Appreciate any and all information.

the steering column will match the interior.
what ever the interior code is that is the color...
it is either silver gray..code 13c(cloth interior) or 132(leather interior
or charcoal gray....182(leather)
you can usually purchase the colors from the corvette vendors.
BTW the code is found in front of the drivers door on the body side,on the plate.

I have the interior codes, are you suggesting that I use the vinyl / hard plastic spray paint?

No. What I am suggesting is you find the trim tag and get
the color code off of it so you get the correct color for your steering column.so it would match the interior.
