Steve Simpson is going to be rebuilding 1982 throttle bodies in a couple of months,maybe February.

I don't know him, most likley because I haven't been here long as a vette owner, but my car has been sitting for the last 14 yrs before I bought it & it's got 68K miles on it.
Every now & then it backfires through one, or both, dunno, of them. Think it's worth my while to get them both redone or should I look elsewhere for the backfire "issue" 1st?
