Any information on the disassembly of the Antenna Motor and Gear assembly housing to accept the new mast and tube assembly. GM #22062598
Thanks,

Thanks for your help. I finally got the mair rivet out and the rest should be history.

Glad I could help, I've sure gotten a lot of help from others here:beer

Moonunit, you are "The Man".
Just got the antenna back together and it tested just fine. There was a new one in the box on ebay but as usual I missed it at the last minute, I was relieved to have the rebuilt one test out okay.

The superseded number that GM wants you to use looked like a disaster waiting to happen. The kit came with a perforated piece of strap that you were supposed to bend into shape and somehow attach it to the bracket. Then the top was made for a surface look instead of the flush fit. So much for GM and their superseded number system.

Now the wonderful task of getting it back into the C4.

Thanks again,
Tom
