I Have A 2001 With A 12pak Cd Player In The Trunk. Problem: I Can Hear It Changing But It Won't Play Or Register Thru The Radio ?
What To Do Or Check ??

Are you getting the CD symbol on your head unit at all or is it just remaining in radio mode while it's changing back there? If THAT is the case, then you just need to pull the fuse and wait 20 minutes, plug it back in and let it reset. If it IS in CD mode and you just don't hear anything, it could be a number of things from as simple as: your CDs are all in upside down, to a wiring problem from the CD player to the head unit. It's obviously getting power, but the other wires may not be connected right or have become faulty. Did it work before?

I had the same problem the day I picked up my car. The dealer was nice enough to show me how to load all of the CD's upside down. Once they were flipped over it worked like a champ :upthumbs

I had to figure mine out from the manual - boy did I feel like a dink - just get done loading 12 CDs and I couldn't listen to any of them. Then I almost rear ended someone trying to figure out how to skip to the next CD. :D

One other thing to keep in mind... When you first load the changer it loads all 12 CD's. I don't know how long it takes but it seems like forever.
