Help. I just spent a small fortune, having the drivers side seats redone at an upholstery shop. I gave them new GM shale leather covers and new GM foam. I put the seat back in the car today and the lumbar adjustment is not working. when switch is depressed , I hear the motor/compressor but do not feel anything. It worked correctly before the rebuild. Al of the other power controls work correctly. Before . I remove the seat and het aggravated at the re-upholstery shop - are there any simple things they could have done to cause this problem? Any way to troubleshoot out of the car. I am bummed. I appreciate any and all info/advice. Happy Thanksgiving

HI there,

It simply sounds like the hoses are not connected to the pump. The relay block may not be either, but normally, I see the hoses disconnected alot after reupholstery of the seats.

Allthebest, Paul

Paul:
Thank You. I presume I need to take out the seat again? If the hoses are deattached - is it obvious or would it be buried in the new upholstery. Thanks again.

Scott
