327 Block Casting Number

Does anyone out there know if the 327 Block, Casting #3789817 was also used in Corvettes?

Any info would be appreciated.

Nope, never used in Corvettes - only in passenger cars and trucks.

Yup, it was so damn hot I didn't make any rounds on Friday, and Saturday was even worse - I never left our Vetteheads tent (where we had a generator and two big oscillating floor fans), and bailed out just before noon anyway - went back to the hotel for a shower and the A/C and stayed there. Can't handle 99* heat and 95% humidity any more. :eyerole

Hope it's a bit cooler next year!
