I'd be very surprised if there wasn't a 50th pace car edition.

Haven't they made one each time they paced the Indy 500?

In 86 the actual pace car was a yellow convertible but there was not an actual pace car model. All 86 convertibles sold, no matter what color, were designated as pace car replicas and all included pace car decal packages for dealer or customer to install.

I am currently registered to attend the 50th aniv celebration by myself, but my new g/f now wants to go. Does anyone know if I can just bring her with me (assuming she still wants to go come June) instead of risking wasting money buying her a ticket that could end up being unused?

The Caravan idea sounds very appealing, driving down the road with hundreds of other corvettes, but I don't think the pack will be driving at my speed. Perhaps I'll leave late and catch up to them.
