59 Hood Assembly

During the restoration of my 59 Vette I noticed the hood halves separating in several places. I separated the halves and would like some guidance on reassembly. I've seen YouTube videos where fiberglass adhesive is applied and halves are SCREWED together and then screws removed when dry. Is there a BETTER way? THANKS for your advice.

I think I would clamp them before I would drill holes in my hood.
