72 Shoulder Belt

I found some stats that said only 749 Vettes in 72 equipped with "Custom Shoulder Belts" .. I think I found one.. but want to be certain somone hasn't jacked with it along the way. Does not appear to have ever had a lap belt, just the shoulder belt fitted through the seat back ...can that be correct??

That statistic is probably referring to convertibles. Lap belts are standard on ALL C3s and shoulder belts are standard on all C3 coupes. Shoulder belts were optional on convertibles - that's where that number likely is coming from.

No such animal as a shoulder belt only 72?
