It has been a while since I have posted here. I spend most of my time on CFI. I am going to be rebuilding the top end and this is what I am thinking about. The motor presently has 54k on the clock.

L79 non roller Cam 222/222 .447/.447 with 1.5 rockers 114 LSA
I plan on using 1.6s so my lift will be .477/.477
(any recommendations on a better cam would be appreciated - non roller)
AFR 180 Heads
Hedman Elite Ceramic Coated Headers with Air tubes
Flowmaster 50's
XRam and 2 inch TBs
I figure my cr should be about 9.7:1 or so depending on the head gasket I use.

I am just looking for a little feedback from those who are wiser than me.

All this engine needs for some easy hassle free performance, is to place the GM 151 grind hydraulic cam in the engine. This is the GM 327/350 HP cam from the middle sixties. It really wakes up a crossfire engine. :D

I'm frantically running to eBay now :) haha

Isn't that what the L79 cam is? It is for the 327/350. I have also been thinking about the XE268H-14 cam.
