Hey All

I am looking to replace my push rods in my '84.
I upgraded to 1.6RRs, and have been fighting a couple of ticking lifters. After some careful examination of the pushrods, I have found at least one that is slightly bent--and probably the cause of my ticking headaches. The instructions said to replace the pushrods during the install, but NOOOOO. I had to be stubborn

So, I'm looking at the Comp Cams 7812-16 push rods. Their site says they work, but I couldn't find anything in the FSM about push rod length so I'm hoping to run it by you guys first to make sure I'm buying the correct ones. I'm feeling close to having this thing back together in time for spring!!

Your pal,

Jason

Pushrods

I put those pushrods and rockers in my 87 and they are great. Go for it.

Thanks, I did just that today and I'm good to go. The tick is gone and life is good again.
