85 oil pan removal help

to remove my oil pan, to change the gasket, I have to remove the flywheel cover. one of the bolts is blocked by the oil filter adapter. any ideas to get this bolt out???

on my 85 never had that problem, just undid the pan bolts and dropped it down. Used to go to the drags at fremont a LONG time ago. Lived in Pleasant Hill most of my younger life.

Thanks for the info, you did have to move your starter out of the way first, didn't you?
