Somebody Buy This!

It looks legit! Plus, the reserve has been met at $100. If you've got an '97 with the original turbos-- YOU NEED THIS NOW!

Just to be on the safe side, ask the seller for a full high hi-res photo of the fresh air inlet. It's probably just a reflection, but their could be something wacky there with casting flash or a ding in the metal of the throat.

It's tape...

There is tape covering all the inlet/outlets on the housing. You are right about the price. Someone here with an '87 better snap that up! It's a steal at twice (even three times) that price.

Just a reflection on the tape from the flash...

Still at $100. I highly doubt the guy who bid even owns a Callaway... probably has a Honda Civic...

I agree - the unit could be used for if nothing else, spare parts :upthumbs

I am not sure if it is interchangeable however, for a bit over a hundred, it's worth the gamble :m

Hey Guys, Just Joined Up. I Own 1988 Twin Turbo. Need Pieces To Fix One Turbo. Cutting To The Chase,, Who Owns This Turbo So I Might Speak To Them

Welcome aboard.

What number is your Callaway? The 88+ cars have different turbos than the 87s, that turbo won't work on an 88 car.

Winning bid: US $200.02

Did someone here get it? Winner is donk_316.

I Will Get The Numbers Today. It Is Sitting At An Engine Shop I Really Need To Find At Least One In Pieces So I Can Get The Guts Out Of It. My Housing Is Fine.

I Have Had A Brain Fart This Morning , Cant Remember Much. I Will Post It Later Today For You Guys. I Do Fell Welcome, And Am Hopeful You Guys Can Help Me Get Another One Back On The Road Soon. Mine Has About 19,000 Orig. Miles On It. Maybe I Can Figure Out How To Post A Pic And I Will Send It Along

Man, no offense, but I would figure that most Callaway owners would know how to spell the name of their car and know what number it is by heart. There were only 124 cars produced in 1988. Thats pretty significant.

Welcome to the :CAC

Here is how to post a pic:

- the easiest way to post a pic is to simply attach it to your text post.

Looking down in additional options (under the "submit reply" button, you will see a box to attach files. Click "manage attachments" and it will then give you a box, next to it, browse...

Browse allows you to "pull" an image from various locations - Locations such as your hard drive, CD, disc, etc.
As long as the max image size is smaller than 85kb, it will go - I have even put a 64kb and a 7kb image together, since it was smaller than 85k, it went along w/ my text to be displayed.

Let me know if you have any questions about this, If you have multiple "big" pics, you may have to make numerous posts
hope this helps :m
