I even contemplated Pep Boys' tires, but didn't really feel comfortable with it for whatever reason.

I did find an installer about 5 miles away who was recommended by the Rack. I called the guy, talked to him and got a good vibe from him.

So why didn't u go with him, were u already committed?

Edmond - I ain't got much 2 say about BF Goodrich TA's.

I had Dayton's on my 96 Z28. I was extremely happy with how they handled, wore and looked - not to mention how competitive they r priced.

My Vette was fitted with Dayton Daytona P275/40ZR17 / BL-DZ-BL-7R4-2 Tire's in April.

Hey Tom, 'bout time you joined the CAC; you snuck in under my shark radar by hiding in this forum! I told Kelly this afternoon that I had offered to help you drive it back if our schedules connected and this was the look on her face :eek. She has a very vivid recolection of Scott and I driving 848 miles to look at one for me and we didn't even bring it home.
