95 vett high idle

hi..my 95 idles at about 900 rpm at op. temp. I have a man. trans. when coming to a stop the idle takes a long time to drop down&it hangs up at about 1100rpm, if I tap the peddle it will drop back to 900rpm.. cleaned throttle body checked iac valve,its not throwing any codes... can somebody help with this problem....... thanks

First check for vacuum leaks, lose hoses, etc., if all of these are ok, check the throttle shaft for play. Any wear here will let enough air into the manifold to increase the idle and will also bind the throttle shaft causing the symptoms you stated. See this post.
