Still, how do you blow through 3 quarts of oil in 1,000 miles (or less?)

Didn't burn it because he would have looked like a Mosquito Control Commission truck. Didn't drop it on the floor overnight because he would have seen it. I wonder if he has an oil canister conversion that is blowing the stuff out under pressure. Well, at least the frame won't rust.;shrug

yep, exactly the reason why i'm confused - and the frame is nice and clean except for a little road dust from driving. :ugh

Hi! Barry

I would change the oil including a new filter as soon as possible (bench mark) and check for leaks while I had it on the lift. I would check the oil level prior to every trip or drive. I would want to know what happened to the oil!

Good Luck!!

I do plan on changing the oil very soon anyway as now i have 4 different ypes and weights all mixed together - 3 quarts of "my" oil that was still in the system which was API CI-4 Diesel oil, and three each of different quarts that people were generous to give me yesterday including a mix of regular and synthetic mobil one plus all of different weights!
Yep, sure is time to change this mixture. ;LOL

This ALSO means it's time to have to go out and buy a proper floor jack, jackstands, and oil pan.
