As I'd mentioned, it will be at least a year before I'm in the market for one, but I think at this point I'd be interested in a 1990-91 B2K with Aerobody. I had a Corvette with the digital dash, and while it is pretty neat (in spite of magazines hating it) I think I'd like to get the newer dash and newer steering wheel of the later C4's. I also want the 6-speed, as the 4+3 is a bit of a pain. All the maintenance of an automatic combined with all the maintenance of a manual...
So, I had a couple of questions that I bet you all can answer in your sleep.
- Was the narrow black body molding replaced with color-matched wide molding on the 1991 Aerobody, or was the narrow molding still used?
- Was the Z5G package on all B2K cars these years? Could you have it with the FX3 suspension, or in 1991 the Z07 suspension? I like the power steering cooler, oil cooler, and such.
- The Z5G package mentions freer mufflers. Are these from Callaway? Or part of the GM Z51 package? My 1987 Z51 didn't have any different mufflers. Did Callaway use the stock exhaust at all? I just figured the whole thing was different, but I suppose it could have been stock from the cat or so back.
