ADC SuperChip?

I'm getting ready to install Jeff's custom prom so I took out the ECU to look at the old memcal. Lo and behold there's something non-stock in there labelled (with a big red sticker) ADC SuperChip, copyrighted 1987. Is this the same as SuperChips (www.superchips.com) or something different? Anyone have any experience with one of these? I'm sure Jeff's is far superior, but I'm curious what the old one was actually doing for me. No, I don't have the original stock one to try...

If the (*#&^(*&#^$ weather would ever cooperate, I'm trying to get a couple "before" times at Capitol... but it's rained every Friday since the chip arrived. Looks like today's no exception .

If it's not raining at 5, I'm heading down - but no guarantee how long I'll be there. If the weather holds, I plan to do two or three runs, swap out the chip (toolbox in the car), and do a few more.

Nah. It was drizzling at 5 and it turned into a full-fledged downpour by 5:30, so I stayed home. I'm off work next Friday, so weather permitting I *WILL* be there. No other excuses.

Use to be available only from Mid America........got one back a few years ago......still going strong.....
