Ive read the adjustable suspension package code Z07 was only available on the coupe models. I have a convertable 40th ruby 6-speed that has that option. It has the dial in the middle of console with 3 different settings. Did I read that fact incorrectly or whats the deal. Would like you opinion.

Thanks Tom

Adjustable shocks (RPO FX3) which were part of the RPO Z07 package, were available to all Corvettes, coupe or vert. The Z07 package with the larger sway bars and heavier springs, larger front brakes and 17 x 9.5 wheels at all four corners, was only available on the coupes. Check your RPO codes on the label on the under side of the console lid.

The Black Book shows that over 5700 Vettes got FX3 (Selectiver Ride Control) in '93 while only 800 were ZO7's. ZO7 was only available in the coupe but FX3 was available in both models.

My '92 was an FX3 car but not a ZO7.

Thank you

Thank you for the clarification. Where do I get the black book. Kind of new to this but was wondering how many 40th convert 6-speed were produced. I do appreciate your feedback and clarification.

Some book stores carry them but the best place to get the "Black Book" and other Corvette stuff at at the National Corvette Museum's Store. Go here National Corvette Museum Store - Product Catalog

It's called "Corvette Black Book" by Mike Antonick and a new one comes out every year with information from 1953 to the latest year included.

Thank you

Click search database on left column. Then the 40th Corvette Graphic, then do your search, they all but like 7 accounted for.

The Ruby Red Page

According to the site, 498 Convertibles w/ 6 speed where produced with Z25 Package.
