After doing a filter change on the transmission I found coolant residue on the crossmember. Removed the water pump and found the bearing was STILL working. Seal was gone. Lube was gone. Looks like some balls were also gone. Removed the opti too. I'm going to check it out. I may just replace it but it was working fine. May just take it apart and clean up. The only thing that gave me grief was the balancer. It was rusted to the hub. Put the torch to center and it pop right off.

Took the opti apart. Had water in it from power washing. Other than that didn't look bad at all but the cap gasket was broken. I replaced with one I bought on ebay. I replaced the plugs and wires too. What a PITA. Put the opti on tonight. Hit the key and VROOOOOM!!! Just need to put the water pump on and back on the road again.

Water pump now installed and every thing working fine
