another cool 62 build up in a magazine

Corvette enthusist had another cool build up on a car in it.

I thought this fellow was a member on our site But I cant find him in the members directory.

His web site is

http://www.carols62.com/

His web site I fould long ago and always pop in to read about his project. If your a member here congradulations

Same magazine John Z has another excellent "how to article" on dealing with the power steering control valve. John I have to say once again your articles are worth more then the subscription price KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.

Larry,

The car belongs to Charles and Carol Bernhardt who we met in Carlisle a couple of times. Real nice folks and they did a great job on their car. He is building another one now. I don't know if they are CAC members or not though.

You are right about John Z's tech articles. His are the most complete and useful articles out there.

Hi

Larry:

Thanks for recommending the Corvette Action Center forum. The article in Corvette Enthusiast would lead you to believe that my wife did ALL the work on her car. Actually I was the one who did the welding on the frame. Other than that we did most of the work together. Carol did do the final painting and the upholstery work.

Anyone that might be interested in my new project can check out: www.carols62.com/59

Charles,

I finally had a chance to get the magazine and ready the article last night. It does make it sound like your part was much less than I know to be the case. I guess they got a little carried away with the unusual aspect of a wife having been so deeply involved in the construction of her car. No doubt Carol is a rare lady and you are lucky to have a spouse so deeply involved and talented.:Steer

Yeah, sometimes those editors get a little carried away. You would think that they would at least let you proofread the copy before printing it. But that's OK. I thought it was a well written article. I did try teaching Carol to TIG weld, but gave up.

Charles,

The editors don't often give you "editorial privileges" or let you see it in advance. It's the price you pay for fame! :L
