Antenna Replacement

No Ribbon all readytried that broke off to close to the top won't come out so will replace whole unit on my 88. Any directions advice etc; will definetly be appreciated. Will sure be glad when this snow stops, snowing again today. Oh well will give me some time to replace that antenna. Thanks in advance.

The easy way is to take the rear tire off and remove the wheel well. Then you have easy access to the large plastic nut and the two other nuts holding it in. If you only want to replace the ribbon...look here
