The following is from Noland Adams:
To: SACC officials and 1953 Corvette owners:
With the help of several SACC members, we have been locating retired GM employees who contributed something to building the 1953 Corvette in Flint. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, these who were there in 1953 will be our guests at the SACC National Convention. Right now we have located eight, with a possibility of locating two more. What stories these old guys will be able to tell!
Attached is an article that appeared in the March 18th issue of the Flint Journal. Thanks to a heads-up from Bob Johnson and Max Brockhouse, a similar article was sent to the Tech Center News, which is read by many retired GM folks. Plus, the Flint Journal is running another article soon.
Cheers,
Noland Adams, President
