Auto-Dimming Rearview Mirror

Has anyone installed an auto-dimming rearview mirror into a hardtop that did not originally come with one? Any help would be appreciated.

I got the new mirror installed. It took a while, 6 hrs or so. OK I'm slow. I found all of the wiring i needed under the driver's side dash. There was a big connector about 8 inches from the mirror, no way I could place it in the windshield frame. I cut the connector out and spliced the wires together. The mirror works fine. I got mine from Corvette Centeral. A little pricey, but I like it. I needed to lower the mirror to see around the roll bar. With compass and outside temp plus home link it looks good and works fine
