l recenty looked at a 81 for sale. the owner had a invoice for long block engine replacement. Can anyone tell me what I.m looking at. Dated 7/99 complete 350 long block bored 40 over, flat top pistons, performance cam, 194 heads.

It's sure not the original engine anymore, sounds like it might be a mild upgrade in HP.

A long block is essentially a nearly complete engine assembly. You have an invoice for a replacement engine installed in your Corvette.
