Axle ratio

Looking at rpo codes I find G44 which according to what I read is 307 gears and G94 performance axle ratio,Whats the G94 and what does it do for performance? Showtime

On an auto it's a 3.07:1 ratio on a 97 and up auto it's a 3.15:1

Got the gear ratio part but want to know what the G92 upgrade is and what it does,according to the 95 specs it was a 50.00 option. just curious. Showtime

G92 is the 3.07:1 gear upgrade for auto trans cars. The default was GM1, 2.59:1.

Axle Ratios

I am having difficulty locating my RPO numbers. They are not inside my consol. I have a 94 6 speed what axle ratios options were offered?

Check the compartment lid behind drivers seat thats were mine is located. AS far as options go check out the specs page and click on your model year
