There is not a chance they can fit in those cars even if they tried. Those cars will be stored and shop around like Two Bit Ho's. Did you ever stop to think that those old,fat,bald,cigar smoking buyers have most likely worked hard most of their lives to get where they can afford those cars? I am 59,gray headed,slightly pot gutted and worked since I was 15. Now I can afford my 77 which is not exactly stock and you are telling me I can't spend my money on what I want.Back off vetteless child untill you have beem down lifes road!

To be fair though, I think Vett-Less's point wasn't that he has a problem with "old fat guys" buying Corvettes, but that these cars will just be stored away as investments and never driven and enjoyed.

DOUBLE AHEM, if the point was the vehicles weren't going to be used,then that's what should have been written. i personally am not young,slim or even had the same amount of hair i once had. yes, i too took offense to that,also.
i have been working since i was 13,been at Disney for 27 years. just so i could enjoy a few pleasures of life.
my advise; choose your words carefully next time. one never knows when a friend will be needed

Believe me, I'm not agreeing with his "old guy" comments at all. My point was that I think he didn't intend to come across the way he did, and that his REAL point was that the cars will never be used.

Not trying to make excuses for him--his first comments were uncalled for, no matter what. Was just trying to offer an explanation to quell the fires a bit.

While I'm not a great fan of trailer queens and museum pieces (Vettes are made to be driven) the CAC isn't about slamming people, it's about celebrating Corvettes. Let's keep that firmly in mind.
