Hi all. I was wondering what parts were needed to stop the battery from sliding back and forth in the compartment. As of now when I go around corners I can feel and hear the battery slide from side to side.. not a good thing. I know there are parts out there for the '81 that can stop that.. but some previous owner must have removed them. I did find the "battery hold down clamp" in a box of miscellaneous parts I got when I bought the car, but at the time did not know what it was. I am now looking in Mid America parts catalog and the only other part I see that is needed is the "battery hold down reinforce". Are there any other parts besides these two required to secure the battery? Also, what is the proper installation.. I have no idea how to attach these parts and neither my assembly manual nor my repair manual show how either.. guess it's suppose to be just common sense. Thanks in advance for any help.
