Big block head torque sequence

I'm overhauling my friend's '69 Chevelle SS396 (real, not cloned). He's doing the frame-off body restore, and my son and I are doing the engine.

The engine is in my garage and we're pulling the heads tomorrow. Even though the heads aren't aluminum, I like to pull the bolts in reverse order. Another friend has all the manuals, but he's out of town. I've only got small-block manuals.

We sure hope the block isn't .060 over already!
