Bose Woes CURED

Bose Fix Works Great

Hey, I tried this fix today on my Dad's '88 35th. Worked great, no problems at all. Good, cheap fix. Thanks!

Saw BoltOn's post re it not working. Guess he found the problem and fixed it.

Hey Bolt-on,
Did you resolve the problem? Now, see the thread called "Bose Woes, no more whining" for the fix to the ignition noise. Thirty minutes to clean sound (at low volumes).

I had a brain fart. I tried connecting the signal from the bose system to the high level input of the amp. It didn't work. I re-read you orginal post and realised I needed to connect them to the low level input. Doh! I'll try connecting the signal from the bose system to the low level inputs and see what hapeens.

ttt (in case this has not been made a stickie)
Vendors with old stock are very slim out there according to the internet.
