I have found out that it is pretty much impossible to get to the top bolt to remove the brake booster. Any tips to remove this bolt

Actually pretty easy using this method on a C3 with power booster. You need a 3/8 ratchet set, 2 extensions (one small one large. small extension on socket then u joint then long to ratchet), one socket, one u joint, and masking tape. Wrap one or two layers of 1/2 " masking tape on the u joint ( tape controls the amount the joint will bend) between the 2 extensions, then on your back looking up (i used a deep dish socket). With a cool lamp and your hand, look & feel to the nuts. I did the R&R in 45 minutes this way. Quicker with an air ratchet. I did remove the brake and cruise switches to pedal and U connect to pedal from booster rod, to see better.

Good Luck
