I was driving behind a friend of mine going down a hill with the brake on but when i was about to come to a stop at the sign I heard a popping sound and i had to use two feet on the brake pedal to actually get the car to come to a complete stop. So I pulled over to check every thing out and the master cylinder seemed to be fine but when i push on the pedal just a little a hissing sound comes from the pedal. Can anyone help my 86?????
way too much...got mine at Advance Auto for $130 with lifetime warrenty.... A real PITA too replace...right up there with the heater core.....you need 1/4" drive w/two swevels to access right side nut on booster and when you install new one make sure the push rod is the EXACT same length as the one that came out....good luck with it..!!!
