Brembo Rotors

We just ordered Brembo cross-drilled and slotted zinc-plated rotors for the '02 and can't wait for them to arrive. If they're as nice as we hope, we just might order some for the Grand Sport...though I don't remember ever seeing a C4 with them:confused Oh, the things we do and the $$ we spend on these toys of ours, huh?!!

Yes, everything is super...and you'd never know anything ever happened to the GS. My insurance company paid for the repairs and then went after Walmart. They said it was clearly not my fault...like my little Corvette was going to take on the 18-wheeler!!

Sweet! Are you also going to get a set of the pads that don't leave so much dust? Why did you go with Brembo? I think Baer makes the cross drilled and slotted rotors as well. Did you do a comparison? How was the price? (as you can see, I'm asking a lot of questions because I plan on making a huge push for a C5 this year. )

To answer your first question, I don't know if we're replacing the pads...we haven't talked about it, but it's certainly worth looking into. Anything to avoid as much brake dust!

As far as why we chose Brembo...it was really just something we came across, and the price was incredible...$249 plus $30 shipping!:cool We talked to quite a few people who have ordered them from Sportbrakes.com and are very happy with them, and who can argue with that price?? Yes, Baer and others have the same style but at much higher prices. I'll let you know how they are...we expect them to arrive in a few days.
