Recently, Joanne came across a shipping receipt for Twin Turbo #37 from 1987.. this was the bill of lading for the trucking company which shipped my car from Bowling Green To Callaway. It's interesting to look at because the "Ship to:" location lists "Callaway Turbo Systems" as the destination... interesting! One other interesting detail is to see the dates on the paperwork. It's 11/86 !!

If you have your build sheet for your Twin Turbo-- can you please do me a favor and tell us under which block number the B2k option is listed?

Also, please list the year of your car... I'm not sure if GM changed the build sheets at all from '87 to '91 and I'm curious to know if the B2k showed up in the same spot from year to year to year... Thanks in advance! -E :)

Who has a build sheet for their car? In what block number is the "B2k" listed? What year is your car?

Eric as far as I know the option B2K is not listed on the build sheet because the factory did not install it. I believe there is a code which triggers the options that Callaway requested for the Twin Turbo Package

The build code was Z5G, Pete.
Anyone have a copy of their buildsheet handy? What number block is the "Z5G" listed within? Does your buildsheet also show the dealer that wrote the sale of the car but the "ship to" address is noted as "Old Lyme"??

My build sheet shows the dealer that sold the car and also shows the shipping to Old Lyme. Also in the top middle of the build sheet it has 89-016 that is my Callaway car number.I have my build sheet off my car since I had to replace the gas tank . It is very hard to get off intact a couple of rips but I got it .

I got a repro from the NCM of my build sheet. It shows the dealer that ordered the car, and it lists Callaway as the deliver to location.

Maybe I'll get a chance to pull down the tank. We'll see ;) That 1/8th tank requirement for Bloomington may be kinda tough!

Anyone have that "Z5G" on their build sheet? If so, year and car number please!

That's an interesting note on the '93 Rubies. Dunno bout the earlier C4's.. when I get home I'll pop the hood on the TT and see if that little hole is there in the frame reinforcement. My little voice intuition tells me that there's nothing in the frame rail of the earlier C4's. If it is true, however, that means that the GM folks would've placed two build sheets on the earlier C4's (Pete already found one on his gas tank).. if there's one in the frame rail- that'd be two!

Pete, If possible, please scan and e-mail your build sheet to me - Thanks! :m

EVH - I hope you find #2 :upthumbs

CC- when you get the buildsheet.. the question still remains.. exactly how is the build for the B2k option noted and in what block number? :confused

shows as the window sticker does, sold to & ship to will be different, shipped is to Callaway, for the B2K process...
No mention of Z5G or B2K in the list of options :confused

Eric,

My build sheet shows option "Z5G CALLAWAY CNVR" in block 107 along with a bunch of other options. The Ship to is Callaway Engineering and the Charged to is the dealer.

Thanks guys! From the limited information that we've gathered in this post, it appears as though the '91 model year had a specific Callaway designation on the build sheet. Pete's '89 doesn't show the Z5G nor does my '87. Though, all cars have that were bought through dealers have the "sold to" dealer info and the "ship to" Callaway info. Interesting stuff.

Would like to hear from more owners who have access to their build sheets. :)

This is very interesting in that the build sheet does not mention B2K but does show Z5G (Callaway Conversion). However the RPO Code sticker in the center console shows B2K.

My 1989 shows B2K on the RPO label in the center console however it does not list Z5G as yours does in the pic you sent - Z5G is listed on my Callaway supplemental window sticker though :cool
