many, many of these cars are unique
Looking back at this thread, I can see how the opinions are running strong, as we are all very passionate about the cars we own or enjoy seeing.
That said, we are all entitled to what we feel and yet if we disagree, and can support our positions, healthy & spirited discussions are welcomed
We as owners have gained a lot and shared a lot here as a result of these discussions and speaking directly to the matter at hand, cars for sale, we have passed on some cars that have had some discrepancies. There is a lot of value inthe info here!
As mentioned by folks in this thread, many, many factors will play into the valuations of these cars - and rarely do you have two, to compare side by side @ the same time...
It is hard to put a value on a car like these but the market has given some guidance over time - most recently, they seem to have leveled off...
I will say from my personal experience and observations, that following the market can be a good thing and healthy for your wallet however, the bottom line often isn't "it", and you may offset a low price on a car by having to put addl. money into the car later on down the road.
I think we are all in agreement that the cars will go up in value, they should - after all, they have tremendous power, low production numbers , and a classic style w/ a high degree of quality in the option content.
I agree w/ the idea of keeping the statements positive and factual as well - a lot of mis-information about these cars and they are certainly on the verge of the "upswing" - any other C4's doing that right now???
Thanks to all Owners & Enthusiasts for contributions here on this site and at the events! As 90Callaway mentioned, we are tightly knit and the camaraderie here is second to none
