Seems like every time I open the hood lately, I've got something else to deal with; today, it's the passengers side hood hinge. I noticed that one of the bolts needed tightening and when I got close, it snapped off

So I reached into the oval opening in the hood from the drivers side to pull the broken bolt out, but I don't think that there is 1/4 inch of play between the top of the bolt head and the actual bottom of the hood!
Does anyone have any experience with replacing hinge bolts/studs or any advice as to how I could fix it?
