Yikes! Not exactly subtle. Definetly function over form.

If you are racing at 100+ speeds it would function. The only other funtion would be to impress the boys at the mini-mart.

lol, well. The C5-R has something like that. Maybe they want to go racing.

More likely they want to LOOK like their going to go racing

Hm, I dont really think function has anything to do with it here.
If the top speed of 186 has any indication of the c6 capability without a spoiler, then just take a look at the aerodynamic models of the car.
Lift over 140 is almost non existant.
Unless you are attempting to provide higher downforce for a specific sustained speed, maybe, but on the street, this is just plain foolish.
Allthebest, c4c5:hb

As seen on the Discovery show last night: Corvette: Rebuilding an Icon, I don't recall seeing the Corvette engineer driving the C6 prototype at 140-160mph on the Autobahn, needing a wing on the back...but...whatever makes your boat float...

I never really like wheels besides polished alum or chrome. The only time black wheels looks good is on a Grand Sport.

Right, but as said above, the C6 is already designed to that it is fine without the assistance of a spoiler.

If I even see "one" of these on the street I will pull up beside it and laugh my $#@ off...
"Please look at me, I have more money than sense" ... put that money into brakes, wheels/tires, intake/exhaust, cam... anything that will actually make a difference on the street!!!
;LOL ;LOL ;LOL ;LOL ;LOL ;LOL ;LOL

Well I agree in some aesthetic investments, especially for C5s, but a wing is just not "Corvette". There are more subtle beauty mods to do than that. That's left for the Honda guys.
