We have cruised with a group of friends who owned C2s. Over the years, some have come and some have gone. The group has finally dissolved. We tried a car club but it wasn't for us. Although we liked the people, most have traded their older cars for new ones. It's not the same. Hard to share car problems when their solution is to go to the dealer. Cruises also tended to be too many miles for our car. Are there any C1 or C2 or early C3 owners in the Southbay who would be interested in getting together occasionally to share tech problems and take some cruises? We like cruising up the coast to Malibu and Oxnard or down the coast to Newport Beach or just around the peninsula to Terranea for lunch. Sometimes we combine a cruise with a hike. Maybe you have some other ideas. We are not interested in joining or starting a club. A simple group is less formal. That's the way we prefer it.
