C5 Painted Hood Liner

Has anyone checked out the Carmotorsports.com site for their embroidered under hood insulators? Car Motorsports - Corvette C5 Underhood Insulators
I like them because you can get anniversary year logos, commorative logos , etc. but I must admit, I haven't seen one. I have an '04 CE and was thinking of getting the UHI with the CE logo. It's $224 - don't know how much Remo paid for his paint job but that doesn't seen outrageous.
I'm trying to post a photo here - wish me luck.

That looks awesome! I now have this intense desire to get a hood liner. Dang you guys! :D

I've got one of the Carmotorsprts.com hood insulators in my vert, with a trunk pad to match. They are both beautiful pieces... an exact match to eachother. The attachment for the trunk piece is far superior to what you get from the other vendors. How many trunk pads have you seen fall off the first time the sun warms the trunk lid??? Mine has been on for three years with ZERO issues. The only problem that I have seen is that the material that they use under the hood may melt in small ammounts if the sun reflects just right off of all that wonderfully polished stainless steel and chrome you've installed!!!:thumb:thumb:thumb

Cost To Paint The Logo

Remo...

Where did you pay $85 for it ?

Just to be clear about it....the earlier question was regarding how much I paid to have someone paint the logo on the hood liner. And that was $85. It was done by a local sign painter using silver and red acrylics.
