Like I said long ago, only a few new Corvettes are sold to Corvette/car enthusiasts. They are sold to the "I have more money than you crowd"


With your nose that far in the air , its hard to see another Vette much less wave.

I was going to say that..but I'm not known for being PC. Perhaps putting the Corvette 10 Commandments in the owner's manual would help?

Well just when I thought all was lost, I got three waves yesterday. They were distributed evenly: 1 Polo Green C4, 1 Speedway White C5 ragtop, and (drumroll please) 1 DSOM C6.

I'm with you on this one! I have seen others here post that they "will only wave if the other car waves first." If we all thought that way, no one would ever wave and we'd all be just like Mustang drivers.

As it just so happens I was going to post a thread asking where the hell all of the Vettes in my area had gone. I've been driving it to work every day for about three or so weeks and I've only seen three or four Vettes and only one wave.....FROM A C6 OWNER! (black Z06)

But then this morning I gave and received a huge out of the roof wave form a yellow Shark! Yeah baby, yeah!!!

Hotwing, I like your perspective! I will keep your thought in mind from now on and NEVER take it personally again if another 'Vette driver fail to return this C6's wave!!
btw/ I've had mine 1/2 year now, and I don't actually have a returned wave that I recall yet! Of course, I hardly ever even get the chance to wave as I don't see too many out while I'm driving mine. (Only go 5 miles to work, in small town.)
I'm trying to do my part to save it!!

I've seen quite a few Vettes out and about lately. I recently got a return wave from a C6 owner and just yesterday a Shark owner and his lady friend BOTH returned my wave!

Ive found it that most of the time, ladies driving Vettes are the ones who usually don't return waves.....I guess its that they don't want act too friendly for safety reasons. Guys have no excuse, but eighter way I don't care, I just wave and move on with my life

A C6 didn't wave?........oh the humanity.:cry Come on you guys - remember when the C5's first came out? We were accused of all sorts of of things. Including that some of us just layed out the money so we could be driving the latest version of the "plastic fantastic". And yes... some people didn't wave then and don't wave now. But in both cases the reality is that some people just don't know about the wave or.....didn't even see you waving at them. It's not personal, it's life, move on.
