Drove her home today. All I can saw is WOW, what a car! Chevy, you have outdone yourself on this one. The car is amazing...everything I could have asked for or wanted. I'll admit, it's only one day old, but what can I say...it's great!

Impressions after day one:

Paint: OP isn't bad, not perfect, but not too noticable. A few coats of Zaino should do the trick.

Hi polished wheels: Awesome! Not Over-done or too flashy like the C5 (sorry don't mean to C5 bash here). I just like the polished aluminum look much more than the chrome of old...there is a difference.

Fit and finish: Nice, I think close to the C5, only slightly better.

Smell: The car smells up the whole garage with that new car aroma!:)

NAV: Absolutely incredible and worth every penny. I haven't even scratched the surface on it's capabilities and I'm already wowed. Voice commands and DVD data for streets and such is impressive. The touch screen for CD, radio and Nav functions is easy to use, intuitive, and cool to look at.

Engine: Start-up sound is awesome, idle is quite with some body shake and rumble :cool . Sounds good and throaty, but quiet overall. Not bad though.

Z51: Like I expected. Responsive, not jarring on bumps. A little noisy from the back end on some types of roads and bumps.

Cockpit: Like a fighter jet...and I fly em. Smll, compact, like a glove, fit's to your body like a sporst car should. Noticibly smaller than the C5 interior "space". Maybe it just feels that way, not sure on the actual numbers.

I love this car! I can't describe the feeling of driving it down the road looking over the hood lines...amazing.

Let me know if you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer them for you.

More to follow.

Buster: Nice to hear someone else shares the excitement and enjoyment with me on the C6. The more I drive it, the more I enjoy!

Have you driven it at night yet? The entire lighting system wil knock your socks off! The NAV screen has 4 color choices, and the hi-beam HID lights are the best I've seen.

First off, Congrats on the new car. :upthumbs Now how about posting some pics of the new car!

Congratulations on the new C6. I hope you have many miles of enjoyment.

Mundane question: how do you plug in an MP3 player(like an ipod}?
Thanks

I think this was asked before but I dont' have an answer for you. My understanding is that the regular CD player supports MP3 playback, but it would be cool if you could just plug in the Ipod.

Buster, congrats on the delivery. Get us some more driving impressions when you can and definitely some pictures. :)

Leon

Congrats!

I am meeting a web friend in the morning to run the Tail of the Lizard alongside his new (museum delivery) C6. Should be a blast!

Rain (post pics when ya can)

Congratulations ...

Awesome Brother, can't wait to see it! Gimme a call when you get your feet on the ground.... (no pun intended)

you are lucky as mine with a vin 1359 has not been shipped yet. my advice to anyone wanting a C-6 wait till one shows up at your dealer and buy it off of the floor and you will not be jacked around like i have been since july

Thanks guys. I'll get pics up soon...I promise. Just been spending so much time driving it, forget the cameras!!!
